Okay, so I'm a writer. A business writer. And as a writer I have certain quirks. If you know any writers you may find some of my quirks familiar. Let's see how well you know the writer in your life and test your familiarity with our quirks. To take our test, click on "more" below.
Pick the right answer:
Question # 1:
If a writer were stranded on a deserted island, the three things he would want with him are:
a. A client, an editor, and a graphic designer
b. A laptop, a satellite link, and a solar power generator
c. A pack of razor blades, a loaded pistol, and a rope
d. A DVD player, the movie Castaway, and episodes of Gilligan's Island
Answer #1: c.
It can't be "a" because he's on sabatical. It can't be "b" because then he'd have to work and right now writer's block is killing him. And it can't be "d" because it would remind him he's stranded and he'd worry about "losing it" like Gilligan and Tom Hank's character on Castaway. That leaves "c" with razor blades to shave with, a loaded pistol to ward off editors and graphic designers, and a rope for building a raft.
A note on "Comments:" I have had to stop allowing comments because of all the unsolicited advertising that was being posted instead of actual comments. If you have an actual comment to make or a joke to offer, send it and I'll consider posting it in this space. And advertising? I'll consider tasteful advertising for tasteful products -- at my choosing at my price. Write me.
